Restylane Facial Filler
Restylane/Perlane:
Restylane and Perlane are injectable fillers composed of hyaluronic acid in
a clear gel form.
Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance synthesized to be safe, non-allergenic,
and completely degradable, so there's no need for pre-testing, and no need
to worry that you might have an allergic reaction.
Similar to collagen, both Restylane and Perlane can rejuvenate your
appearance by eliminating signs of wear and aging such as:
- Wrinkles, furrows, and frown lines
- Pitting, scarring, and other surface damage to the skin
- Loss of fullness, particularly in the lips
About hyaluronic acid
The hyaluronic acid in both Restylane and Perlane is a Non-Animal,
Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid, or NASHA, in a clear, injectable gel form.
While your body naturally produces hyaluronic acid, this type is synthesized
to be entirely free of animal proteins, significantly reducing the possibility of
allergic reactions.
Restylane and Perlane procedures
The procedure for Restylane and Perlane injections is similar to that for
collagen treatments, except that you will not need to be tested for allergic
reactions.
During your treatment, we will numb the area to be treated with a local
anesthetic. Afterward, we will make a series of shallow injections to the area,
smoothing and filling out your specific problem areas.
How Restylane and Perlane work
Injectable Restylane and Perlane treatments replenish your skin naturally,
filling in depressions and augmenting soft tissue features, to give you a fresh,
glowing, youthful look.
Depending on a variety of individual factors, your treatment may last months
or years, and will deplete slowly over time, as the hyaluronic acid safely and
naturally depletes. In general, both Restylane and Perlane can last as much
as twice as long as similar collagen treatments. You can safely repeat your
treatment as often as you like.
